Loose Ends

So I finally finished a second read. My first read was done in haste, under a cloud of personal upheaval, so I wisely set everything aside until I felt ready to tackle DC with a better frame of mind.

One of the loose ends is how Arithon ‘accidentally’ finds the lost island of the Paravians. There two very small pieces of text that give minimal context to it, but Sethvir uses the phrase ‘by sheer luck’ (I’m paraphrasing, but that’s the gist).

So here’s my issue (though minor). How can we tie the song of the Paravians at Corsach’s death with the bardic hallucinations accidentally opening a portal when Arithon just happened to be floating around the sea? It’s all a little too convenient.

I need help giving more weight to content and less to assumed context.
