I have been trying to get my Library to buy the entire series. Alas with limited budget they are staying more with patterson and his ilk. I will become more annoying and I know I have got atleast a few interested in your series and they are starting to request the Library carry your titles

Please don't get me wrong- I am really excited for you. Please take my words as a testament to how much I enjoy your writing.
Julie - not upset with you!! Never that. Don't even think it.
Just hoping folks may wish to help build momentum during the wait, so it can become a great opportunity.

Hi Janny,
Congratulations on finishing and the pub date. That's great news.
I did want to know if that date is international or US only? Are Harper Collins still publishing for you in Australia? And if so, are they on board with that same date?
Regards,
CJ

Brilliant. So happy, a year will seem long but worth the wait. Have enjoyed all your books, Whitesorm, Empire, Chasm as well as Mistwraith of course.
Hope like Izzy that we in the UK see your book the same time as the US
The worldwide publisher is HarperCollins Voyager UK, and the likelihood is that this pubdate is for English language publication, world wide.
When it's one office/one publisher in charge, everything's smooth.
Just FYI, HC London, Voyager DOES also have Song of the Mysteries under contract; so it's this boat, all the way through.

Ah, great news.
Are they also publishing an eBook of it? I fully intend to buy the physical book, but if it comes out on Kindle even 1 day before, I'll buy that first
Regards,
CJ
I don't know anything more, yet, than this is the 'official publication date'
By the way - news - for you all who use KOBO - Sorcerer's Legacy is ON SALE! over this weekend. Fifty percent off!!!
The PROMO CODE: 50READ
Spread the word!

While I am happy we finally got a publishing date and September is a good time of year, I am still disappointed HarperCollins could not fit it in to an earlier time slot. For taking so long I hope they intend to publish a hard cover version as well.
I pre-ordered my trade paperback version months ago at the Book Depository, I have not ordered the kindle version yet, but it can be pre-ordered.

They would not have updated that publishing date yet from the estimated one.

Yay! I have been reading these since 1996. I was 14 and fell totally in love with Arithon. It's been a solid love affair ever since. My husband knows he is the 2nd man in my life
Super excited. Also this gives me time to get a friend to start them. He's been umming and ahing for a while.
Man I'm going to talk about these books so much to people. If there's any UK specific things that can be done to help push them I'd love to know.

UK specific things: ANY online book seller: check their sites. If the books have no reviews and ratings, do that, it assists other readers.
Book chats and forums ONLY if you have time - these places are communities, and flying in there to push a title when you are not a contributing member backfires. But if you like to discuss books, if you are willing to take the time to scope out a group that discusses books and join in discussion about ALL the books you like - these are superb outreach.
Joelle, if this interests you, email me privately and I will provide you with a list, each forum and community has its own personality, they are all different, and the people who are regulars know each other. Precautionary note: all of these communities consider flyby posters who don't interact, but just come in to push a title, they react badly and consider such people spammers. So the single post fly by is best done on a review site, not a discussion forum.
Participating in the Hell's Chasm discussion starting up Sept 1 would be huge.
I have a FB page and a twitter account, so participating there also grows awareness. (and you get to see pictures!)
ANY talk and bringing in new readers - that's such a gift! If the books are not shelved in the bookshop or library, then the ONLY way they get seen is through readers' drawing notice. Pure gold, and I thank you all for that!
Your support (every one of you) means so much.

Hi Janny:
Been spreading the word by handing out my copies of your books and asking them to be passed on to others. This is the only online forum I participate in. A generational thing!

Hi Janny. I shall drop you an email. I've been wanting to get involved with some book groups so this seems like the perfect time/opportunity. I'll check out online sellers too. I think I'm also going to contact my local library. We have an epic system so if I can get your books in there that would be great. It's how I started. Took Curse of the mist wraith on holiday with me 😃

Hi Janny!
It has been FAR too long since I was last on your page. I get updates in my email… I can't tell you how delighted I am to see a publish date for Destiny's Conflict. Having loved your books for nearly 30 years, especially WOLAS, this is a major milestone and just makes me so excited about 2007. A sweetshop year! So much to look forward to. Can't wait to see the artwork for this new book and I am counting down the weeks until I hold it in my hands Cheers! xxx

HJ! Welcome back!!!
Julie: lovely to hear from you!
Just a notation: participation on this forum is grand (I truly enjoy everyone's comments) - it's largely invisible to the bigger world, though. Folks come here after they've found the series.
For anyone wanting to join the To Ride Hell's Chasm discussion on GoodReads here's the group link:
https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/107259
Other cool news: I have the draft for The Decoy going into second revisions - yes, it is a Wars of Light and Shadows universe story.
And there is another one coming right after this one, for Evil is a Matter of Perspective.
So missed DragonCon due to Hurricane Hermine, but - working in consolation.

September 2017? Yay, great news.
Been away from here for ages, so had to do a password reset.
I've Book 1 of Arc 4 looking at me balefully, as if to say: "So, you going to read me now?"
(Quite seriously I'm clustering arcs now as I don't remember the story years later.)
